The initiative also hosts workshops on leadership, confidence-building, and educational skills for female students.
I founded and currently serve as President of Be Her, a community initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering ethnic minority women through media and education. The project was created to provide a platform where women’s voices are heard and valued.

At Be Her, I led a team of 12 members to organize a gender-equality debate competition in rural communities, raising $1,000 USD to support 45 female students in Phu Tho province and fund the production of the short film The Aftertaste, which highlights women’s narratives.

2. The AfterTaste Short Film
The Aftertaste is a short film I directed, wrote, and edited as a personal exploration of women’s inner lives and unspoken emotional burdens. The film was inspired by my observations of family relationships and the quiet resilience of women whose sacrifices often go unnoticed.
Through this project, I was involved in every stage of the filmmaking process, from script development and on-set directing to post-production editing. The experience deepened my understanding of visual storytelling as both an artistic practice and a powerful medium for social reflection.
